Welcome to the Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge (SVIC)

In this community, you can submit ideas, vote on existing ideas, or add comments.

To submit an idea, please click the new idea button below. You will then be asked to add a title and choose a campaign for the new idea. Please choose the "SVIC" campaign for your idea. You will also have the option to add tags to identify your idea (e.g., technology, food, communication, health, green, mobile app, transportation, clothing, etc). To vote on an idea, simply click the up or down thumb to the left of the idea title/description. And to add a comment, click in the box below the idea.

In 200 to 250 words, describe your idea addressing these four points (A-B-C-D):

1. Advantage. An innovative idea catches fire quickly if people perceive that it provides something better than the status quo. Describe how your idea will solve a current problem.

2. Benefits. An innovative idea creates impact in the marketplace. Describe the benefits and/or impact of your idea to people’s lives.

3. Customer. An innovative idea needs to match the market’s present and future needs. Identify who are the target users of your idea.

4. Doable. You have to be able to execute your idea. Describe the skills and talents you (and your team) have and need that would enable you to implement the idea.

After you click "Submit Your Idea", your idea will be submitted to the moderator for approval. Once your idea has been approved and posted by the moderator, you will have the chance to attach all the files related to your idea.
